Hello and welcome to the May installment of the 12 Quilts in ’12 Challenge! I’m hosting here on my blog, but Saf and Amy are playing along, too. We hope you will join in!
Well, May has come and almost gone. Wow. I had alot going on this month, but I managed to complete a baby quilt that had been put aside for several years. Still have no idea what to do with it, but it is DONE!Using up some repro fabric and adding some applique I just made this up with scraps from so 1930s repro fabric that I had in my scrap bin. I thought it was cute and boyish. |
Applique Then I added 2 applique airplanes and 2 applique boats, mainly because it looked so plain. |
And of course, it is the predictable cat magnet. It might end up being Violets wubbie. She is obsessed with it. I had trouble getting a picture of it, sans cat.
Of course that doesn't compare to trying to get it quilted. Both of my little stinkers were creating a difficult work environment, but it was soooo cute.
OK time to tell me what you have finished for May, and link a picture of it below.
This month’s prize:
Here is how to enter
- Blog about your finished project or post a picture of it to flickr
- Any project you finished this month is eligible, but please link to only one blog post/flickr picture (it’s okay if you blogged about multiple finishes, we love that!)
- Entries for this giveaway will be open until Wednesday, June 6th at noon
- The dedicated folks who enter all 12 times will be entered to win a grand prize next January!
Thank you everyone for joining in, and remember you have 8 more chances to win prizes, and a final grand prize for entering every month.
